Welcome to My Page

Jack Oudman

Thank you for visiting my page. This cause is dear to me, and I will appreciate all the support I can get! I am nervous and excited about this opportunity to create awareness about poverty through World Renew and my own voice and also help create opportunities to break free from the cycle of poverty through Partners Worldwide. We are told the 40% of the world's population lives on less than $2.50 a day which seems unbelievable to us here in North America where many of us have been blessed considerably.

There are many people taking this work to heart including my brother Rob and wife Leslee who work and witness in Nicaragua with La Semilla Ministries for many months of the year and have been doing that for a number of years already.

It is also an amazing opportunity to create memories to celebrate Canada's 150th birthday. I hope my body and particularly my butt remembers that on days 4,5 6 and onto day 56. I do look forward to seeing a lot of Canada and it will be a memory that will stay with me forever. I had the opportunity to ride on a motorbike across Canada in 2004 and now another chance to see this great country. Ask me after the ride which trip will resonate with me longer and I know already that because of the effort this ride will take and the fact that I am 13 years older that this trip will be very impactful.

I KNOW many of you are and will be envious of the opportunity to stretch yourself and push yourself and especially all summer in the heat, the wind and possibly the rain. This year and especially this summer get out and enjoy this great country we call home, celebrate the freedom we have to worship our Creator and get active if you can.

Together we can make a difference! I will do the riding but ask for your prayers and financial support as I go for my goal of $25,000 to help the organizations raise $1,500,000 or more.

God Bless you one and all. Enjoy your summer as we sweat our way across Canada. May God be praised as we seek to do honor Him-- our King and bless some of the less fortunate both here in Canada and around the world.

Riding for our Father in heaven and for brothers and sisters all over the world who need a hand up for an opportunity to feel hope and to experience it first hand. It is a humbling experience for sure.
